My daughter and I have visited Sauvie Island Farms every year since she was three for our great pumpkin finding adventures. Â It is not the most popular farm on Sauvie Island, which is one of its great appeals… it is also very wide open, big, and beautiful. Â A real working farm, with a variety of crops and offerings throughout the year, we venture here many times annually as a result. Â For the pumpkin excursion this year, I brought a film camera only, which caused a slight issue when I realized I arrived with a dying battery and no spares in my bag. Â I highly encourage having a spare battery in general; it’s even better when one keeps it readily available while shooting. 😉 Â Here is a glimpse at our afternoon.
And lastly, the triple exposure image that resulted from shooting on a mostly dead battery.
