I met Aruna by chance. She was shopping in Crate & Barrel and I was there representing Simply Splendid for a bridal event. She stopped and complimented my photography and mentioned that she and her husband never had any professional photos taken and how she’d like to change that. Busy travel schedules prevented it right away, but about a year later we were able to get together for that very purpose and it was lovely. I liked Aruna immediately upon meeting her, she was beautiful, funny, and kind, but it was such a treat to get to spend time with her and her husband Tom who I found equally as kind and personable. I enjoyed asking them tidbits about their life, how they met, and about their travels around the world together. It’s always such a pleasure to really get to know the wonderful people I have the opportunity to work with and photograph.
