I’ve had the pleasure of photographing for the Patton Family several times now, but this particular time made one of my photographer dreams come true–to photograph multiples in the newborn category. Initially I was thinking twins, but really why not just dive right into triplets! And triplets it was. All cute, sweet, small, with different appearances and personalities. It will be so interesting to see how these tiny men develop into their larger selves.
I drove away from this session 1) hungry =), but 2) exhilarated and feeling as though I could photograph any baby, any time. Not in a prideful way, but in an accomplished way and I am happily pleased with the outcome. To this sweet family of three, that suddenly became six, I am in awe. Well done Pattons, I am excited to see all the love mixed with dirt and noise and the beauty that is childhood chaos before you.
All images captured on film with Contax 645 and Canon AE-1 using Kodak Portra 800 and Tri-X films.
