I arrived to the wedding location before the bride and when she pulled up and carefully slid out of the car, I may have gasped. Simona looked like Eastern European royalty. But one of the most amazing things about lovely Simona, is that as beautiful as she is on the outside, she is leaps and bounds more elegant and lovely on the inside. She is kind, gracious, thoughtful, humble, smart, creative, and giving of herself and her time. She’s an amazing catch to put it lightly. Matthew, also a great catch, is funny, charismatic, inviting, also very thoughtful. They are simply gorgeous, but so much more than that, and so much more together.
There is a lyric to a song that goes, “I pray light will leak from our pockets, we’ll be drenched overcome.” I think of this line almost anytime I think of Matthew and Simona because they leave bits of light everywhere they go almost like it just drips from their pockets. I felt truly honored to be there capturing their wedding with them as they promised themselves to each other in front of their closest friends and family members. And though there were lovely little details scattered though out the day and venue, their love for one another radiated so greatly that nothing else mattered. Truly, the best.
Gorgeous!!
